Mrs. Sorour Nayeri has dedicated more than fifty years of her life to Persian literature as an instructor and scholar.
She holds a master’s degree in Persian Literature along with a master’s degree in Education from the University of Tehran, Iran.
Sorour Nayeri completed her accreditation for teaching and bachelor of art at Shiraz University in Iran.
She had an educational TV program for five years in Tehran and an educational program in Iranian TV and radio stations in Los Angeles, California for an additional six years.
Mrs. Nayeri has developed easy and efficient methods in teaching Farsi (Persian Language) as a second language.
These methods help to assist students in recognizing Farsi letters while being able to convert them to their equivalent English letters and sentences.
Her work includes a collection of Persian poetry and Farsi teaching textbooks for first and second grade students.
Her books are taught in more than fourteen universities around the world along with several Persian centers in the United States.
Students who have studied with Mrs. Nayeri have succeeded in understanding various facets of Persian language and culture.
